    BCS Bowls

What are your projections going into this weekends for the matchups?

    Rose:
    Wisconsin vs. Oregon

    Fiesta:
    Oklahoma vs. Houston

    Sugar:
    Michigan vs. Stanford

    Orange:
    West Virginia vs. Virginia Tech

    Title Game:
    Alabama vs. LSU

***I could see Stanford and Houston swapping locations.

I think Houston is auto-Sugar IMO unless So. Miss pulls off the shocker.

What does Houston's loss do with the BCS bowls now? Does Kansas State get the nod or does Boise State get an at large bid? If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State will Ok. State get an at large bid? TCU still has a chance to get to the top 16 and get the automatic bid as well.

TCU or SMU will get it.

No way SMU gets it. Only Southern Miss or TCU can get it. It depends on how far up USM moves and if they pass TCU. I doubt they do. They should, they got a major win, but they wont.

My bad on clarification. I thought it was Southern Mississippi University, not the University of Southern Mississippi. I didn't mean Southern Methodist at all.

oooohhhh, that makes WWAAYY more sense haha. I was wondering how in the hell SMU would get into a BCS game.

Im a USM fan, they always have talent and have a much better shot at beating a top flight team than a gimmicky team like Houston.

Side note; Lung, Beast, Stripes--whatever happened to De'Andre Brown? The 5* recruit who spurned all the big schools for USM then was a major bust. Is he on a practice NFL squad right now or what?

Haven't heard. The last thing I remember was him getting hurt at SM and being out for a while. Seems like it was a knee. Don't know if he ever came back from that or not.

    Re: BCS Bowls

With Clemson beating VT I think they move ahead of TCU and I don't see Michigan State falling past 16 or 17. The only team TCU passes IMO is Georgia and I think Clemson will cancel them out. I don't see TCU making it into the top 16 to qualify for the automatic bid.
